BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED CONTRACTS FOR l/lOTH OF <br />1% MENTAL HEALTH AND CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY FUNDING <br />RESoLUTToN No. zozs-12! 5 <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) established a mental <br />health tax via Kittitas County Ordinance No. 2021-017; and <br />WHEREAS, the proceeds generated from the Mental Health Tax imposed pursuant to <br />RCW 82.14.460, are to be used to fund programs related to chemical <br />dependency, mental health treatment, or therapeutic courts; and <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC awarded funds via resoluti on 2025 -029, 2025 -030, 2025 -03 1 to <br />fund public schools and agency submitted requests for proposals (RFP); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Prosecutor made the recommendation to include <br />contract language "contractor will refer to their approved budget <br />document submitted through the funding process" to ensure contractual <br />budget compliance; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners, <br />hereby adopts the amendments to awarded subcontracts for the mental health and <br />chemical dependency funding including Boys & Girls Club of Columbia Basin, Cle Elum <br />Roslyn School District, Community Builders, Comprehensive Healthcare, Ellensburg <br />School District, Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization, and Thorp School <br />District. <br />ADOPTED tni, | $auy <br />o1 14p"i \2025 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />ATTEST:Vice-Chair
