2025-05-27 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 5/27/2025 <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Laura Osiadacz, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others Present: Greg Zempel, Stephanie Hartung, Therese Murphy, Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:03 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF UPDATING THE MEMBERSHIP <br />REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITIZEN’S ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON SALARIES FOR ELECTED <br />OFFICIALS (EXCLUDING COUNTY COMMISSIONERS) <br />The Board reviewed a resolution to modify the membership requirements and further clarify the term “immediate <br />family member” of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Salaries for Elected Officials (excluding County <br />Commissioners). Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution 2025-105 in the matter of modifying <br />the Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Salaries for Elected Officials (excluding County Commissioners). <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion was approved; 2:0. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – AED MACHINES <br />HR Director Killgore requested Board approval to purchase eight new AED machines for County facilities, and <br />enter into a professional services agreement with Jerrol’s for the annual maintenance and inspection of the <br />County’s AED machines. The Board approved the request. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE MOU BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND LOCAL 2658 (APPRAISERS) <br />TO CLARIFY THE LONGEVITY RATE SCHEDULE <br />HR Director Killgore presented an MOU for the Appraisers Union to clarify the longevity rate schedule and better <br />define when longevity pay is initiated. Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve the MOU between Kittitas <br />County and Local 2658 (Appraisers) to clarify the longevity rate schedule. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the <br />motion.
