KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 15, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited to install 9 new cameras at the <br />Public Works Building. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The original Professional Service Agreement was approved by the <br />BOCC on December 3, 2024. However, the cost included the wrong sales tax rate. <br />Therefore, an updated Professional Service Agreement indicates the total cost of <br />$54,707.25 using the new sales tax rate, which was effective January 1, 2025, for AEU to <br />install nine new cameras at the Public Works Building. <br /> <br />This proposal with AEU is to install nine new cameras at the Public Works Building. <br />AEU proposes to install one dome camera at Northeast inside entrance looking South, <br />one dome camera at Southeast inside entrance looking North, one dome camera looking <br />at each desk area, South and North in the main entrance hallway, one dome camera on <br />outside Southwest employee entrance, one dome camera on outside of Northwest <br />employee entrance, one dome camera outside, Northeast looking at North parking lot, <br />one dome camera on soffit looking South down sidewalk, and one additional camera. <br />This includes new cables to the existing patch panel, patch cables top the camera switch <br />and labeling the patch panel with the correct camera number, new IP address into the new <br />cameras, and aim and adjust new cameras. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited to install nine new cameras at <br />the Public Works Building. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one fully executed original to the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Nancy Shaff, Chief Administrative Deputy
