BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED CONTRACTS FOR 1/10TH OF <br />1% MENTAL HEALTH AND CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY FUNDING <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-____ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) established a mental <br />health tax via Kittitas County Ordinance No. 2021-017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proceeds generated from the Mental Health Tax imposed pursuant to <br />RCW 82.14.460, are to be used to fund programs related to chemical <br />dependency, mental health treatment, or therapeutic courts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC awarded funds via resolution 2025-029, 2025-030, 2025-031 to <br />fund public schools and agency submitted requests for proposals (RFP); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Prosecutor made the recommendation to include <br />contract language “contractor will refer to their approved budget <br />document submitted through the funding process” to ensure contractual <br />budget compliance; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners, <br />hereby adopts the amendments to awarded subcontracts for the mental health and <br />chemical dependency funding. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2025. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Cory Wright, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> <br />
