! <br />,t <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS, STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.202s- p 54 <br />A Resolution to Cancel Taxes Assessed Upon <br />Expired Parcel#954845 Pursuant to RCW 84.48.065 <br />WHEREAS, RCW 84.48.065 states that the County Treasurer may cancel assessments on the tax <br />roll that are erroneous due to clerical errors in extending the rolls; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has found that parcel #954845 was inactivated in 2014 for a <br />binding site plan with taxes still owing; and <br />WHEREAS, taxes were duly assesse d in 201-4 upon the property appended hereto as Exhibit A, <br />which taxes are delinquent, and which assessments were not extended on future tax rolls of Kittitas <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, after attempts to contact the original owners of parcel #954845 have failed; and <br />WHEREAS, placing the outstanding taxes against the parcels created from the binding site plan <br />would create hardship for the current owners; and <br />WHEREAS, attesting to the same and requesting cancellation of taxes on the inactivated parcel <br />listed in Exhibit A; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: <br />that the Kittitas County Treasurer is directed to cancel taxes assessed upon the real property listed on <br />Exhibit A from the tax rolls of Kittitas County pursuant to RCW 84.48.065. <br />l8{"mal-N-o 2-5day of ,2DATED this <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COU NTY, WASH I NGTON <br />ABSENT <br />Laura rman <br />ry Vice <br />Deputy Prosecuting Attorney <br />B hsmith, Commissioner
