KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 18, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval to advertise a Request for Qualifications for <br />Architectural and Engineering Services necessary for taking the 50% <br />design and development of the Ellensburg Rodeo Arena seating <br />project to 100% design. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County in conjunction with the Ellensburg Rodeo Board have <br />worked for the last 10 years on redesigning the Rodeo Arena Seating, <br />the design has been taken to 50% and the project is ready to take to <br />100% design. At this time, we are requesting statements of <br />qualifications and performance information from firms interested in <br />providing professional architectural and engineering services for the <br />completion of the design and development of the seating at the Rodeo <br />arena. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of County Commissioners, Ellensburg Rodeo Board, and Event <br />Center Director <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval to advertise a Request for Qualification <br />for Architectural and Engineering Services. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board to advertise <br /> Copy returned. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Public Notice and Request for Qualifications. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
