Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/4/2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board's review and Char's signature on Amendment No. 1 to Agreement SWMLSWFA-2023- <br />KiCoSW-00195 between the State of Washington Department of Ecology and Kittitas County Solid Waste. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Every biennium the Solid Waste Department is able to request additional funds from the Department of <br />Ecology's LSWFA grant program. This biennium the Solid Waste Department was able to secure an <br />additional $30,652.66 ($22,989.49 in state share) in funding. This funding helps support the operation of the <br />Solid Waste Department's Compost and Moderate Risk Waste facilities. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />The Prosecutor's Office has reviewed the amendment. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Request Board's review and Chair's signature on amendment No. 1 <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
