KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 4, 2025 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Crack Sealant Materials for Calendar <br />Year 2025. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes out to <br />bid for the furnishing of Crack Sealant Materials in <br />accordance with Standard Specifications of the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation. <br />Notice of Call for bids are advertised in the legal <br />newspaper. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened on February 20, 2025, at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Public Works Department. Three (3) <br />bids were received, with one (1) bid deemed <br />unresponsive; one (1) bid not meeting the required <br />specifications; and one (1) bid deemed responsive. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bid to <br />furnish Crack Sealant Materials for 2025 to <br />SealMaster Washington for Schedule "A". <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Cameron Curtis, County Engineer <br />
