BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON NO. 2o2s - ,Jb/ <br />AUTHORIZING KITTITAS COI,INTY DEPARTMENT OF PTJBLIC WORIG BTII'BOARI) <br />NATIONAL PURCHASING COOPERATIVE MEMBERSHIP AI\D AUTHORIZING THE <br />PUBLIC WORIG DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID INTERLOCAL PARTICIPATION <br />AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: BuyBoard National Purchasing Cooperative is a cooperative formed by government <br />entities to streamline procurement processes for public schools, municipalities, and other <br />government entities; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works desires to join BuyBoard National Purchasing Cooperative <br />to expand procurement options for the department; and <br />WHEREAS: An Interlocal Participation Agreement is required for free membership; and <br />WHEREAS: Under RCW 39.34.030 authorizationof membership shall be at the discretion of the <br />county legislative authority; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BB IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby authorizes Kittitas County Public Works BuyBoard National Purchasing <br />Cooperative Membership; and <br />NOW, FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to execute said <br />Interlocal Participation Agreement. <br />DATED this 4th day of February 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />K]TTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />fi,{putv Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />cory V <br />Commissioner
