<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 4, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and <br />sign the Amendment with Kittitas County Event Center for Internal <br />Operations for 2024. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: During the regularly scheduled meeting of the Lodging Tax Advisory <br />Committee (LTAC) on January 8, 2025, the proposed Internal <br />Operations Contract with the Kittitas Valley Event Center was <br />discussed to increase the previously approved Internal Operations <br />contract of $200,000 by an additional $75,000. The effective date of <br />the Contract is also amended to the correct date of January 1, 2024. <br />Action is now requested from the BOCC via a formal contract <br />amendment. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee approved the <br />requested increase, and the Prosecutors Office advised the Auditor <br />that the best way to formally appropriate the increase and effective <br />date would be via a contract amendment. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution Authorizing Amendment No. 1 to Contract LT- <br />2024-001 KVEC Internal Operations-2024. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Bryan Elliott, County Auditor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
