Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Nelson View Plat (LP-24- <br />00002 & LPF-24-00003). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Preliminary Plat was approved by the Hearings Examiner on July 24, 2024 with <br />findings of fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and KCC 16.12. <br />The plat covers approximately 25.03 acres accessed via Nelson Siding Road. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on December 16, 2024, requesting <br />final mylar approval for the Nelson View Plat. This Plat creates 5 lots from the <br />existing lot for a total of 5 lots. The proposed lots range in size from 5.00 acres to <br />5.02 acres. Staff reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds <br />that it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. The mylar has been <br />reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Nelson View <br />Plat (LP-24-00002 & LPF-24-00003). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Nelson View Plat (LP-24-00002 & LPF-24-00003), Hearings <br />Examiner decision LP-24-00002. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Zach Torrance-Smith, Planner I
