't <br />BOARD OF COUNW COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KIfiITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT A <br />WITH WASHTNGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR CDBG PROGRAM <br />G EN ERAL PU RPOSE G RANT 2I.622LO-O3O <br />REsoLUroN No. 2024_ il? <br />Whereas,Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public <br />agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative <br />action; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce entered into an <br />agreement via Resolution2O22-O45 for CDBG Public Services Grant 2'L-6221O-O3O <br />to aid Friends in Service to Humanity (F|SH-Ellensburg) with the Food Bank and <br />Food Pantry Expansion; and <br />Whereas,Washington State Department of Commerce has provided Amendment Number A <br />to amend Contract Number 2L-622LO-O30 to replace special terms and conditions <br />#3 acknowledgement of federalfunding and add specialterms and conditions#2t <br />Build America, Buy America requirements, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of Contract Number 21,-622L0-030 Amendment Number A of the <br />lnteragency Agreement with Washington State Department of Commerce, attached hereto, and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br />APPROVED, this 6th day of February 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />Page 1 of 2
