BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUiloN No. 2024- glu <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXEGUTION OF AN INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND THE WASHINGTON STATE <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />-public <br />agencieslo cooperate byproviding services-and-facilities formutual-advantage. <br />WHEREAS, Washington State Department of Natural Resources is paying Kittitas <br />County Sheriffs Office to subcontract the development of a wildfire recovery plan template <br />that can be customized by individual counties and communities, beginning with Kittitas <br />Count as a pilot project. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY <br />ORDERED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington <br />authorizes the execution of the lnteragency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriffs <br />Office and The Washington State Department of Natural Resources that is attached <br />hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which shall be forthwith filed with <br />the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />ADOPTED this lnh ay of D.(z!
