BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. & 0 g4-a-l(,.- <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID F'OR DESIGN, F'ABRICATING, FINISHING AND <br />TRANSPORTING A 40'X 16' STEBL MODTJLAR BRIDGE AND AUTHORIZE THE WATER <br />RESOT]RCE PROGRAM MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas Flood Control Zone District requires a bridge for the Whiskey Creek Siphon <br />Project scheduled to be constructed in 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Said project is listed on the adopted Six-Year Flood Control Capital Improvement <br />Program for the Years 2024-2029 by Resolution 2023-009; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for the procurement of a 40' x 16' steel <br />modular bridge in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on December 5,2024, at 10:00 am in the Kittitas County Permit <br />Center, Department of Public Works, 411 N. Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, <br />Washington;and <br />WHEREAS: Two (2) bids were received.
