<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2025-_____ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN OFFICE HOURS FOR THE KITTITAS COUNTY AUDITOR’S OFFICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority, pursuant to RCW <br />36.16.100 and KCC 2.20.010, to modify and approve changes, via resolution, to the <br />hours of operation that County offices shall be open for the transaction of business; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Auditor ’s Office has requested that its office hours be changed <br />from 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday, to 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday through <br />Thursday, and 8:30AM to 3PM on Friday; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Auditor ’s Office employees will continue to work 40 hours a week <br />and there will not be an impact to the budget because of this change; and <br />WHEREAS, the change in office hours is based on feedback from residents and staff who have <br />acknowledged a need for earlier office hours; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Auditor ’s Office will conduct a trial of this change in hours through <br />March 3rd 2025 in order to assess the impacts on service levels and staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington <br />authorizes approval of the request to change the business hours of service for the Kittitas County <br />Auditor ’s Office, such that the office will be open to the public on Monday through Thursday from <br />8:30AM-5PM and 8:30AM-3PM on Friday. <br />DATED this ____ day of _____ 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> ________________________________ <br />Attest: Chairman <br />________________________________ _______________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board – Julie Kjorsvik Vice-Chairman <br /> Deputy Clerk of the Board – Mandy Buchholz <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
