KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 7, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment <br />of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this proposed Amendment is to update the Kittitas <br />County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee schedule. This schedule was last updated by Resolution <br />2018-217. The three changes proposed are for a required decrease in the FBI fingerprint- <br />based background check fee (for CPL applications) from $13.25 to $12.00 effective <br />January 1, 2025, an increase in the cost per Deputy Hour (man and machine), and a <br />revision to the statement allowing the Sheriff to waive the imposition of fees pursuant to <br />various provisions of the RCW. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This proposed Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to <br />form by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the <br />Amendment of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return one copy of the Resolution to the Sheriff’s Office for our <br />records. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Chief Administrative Deputy Nancy Shaff
