KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE AND MAINTENANCE MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />TUESDAY 1 2:00 PM I December 10, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz Vice- <br />Chairman/Absent and Cory Wright Commissioner <br />Others: Patti Stacey and Lisa Lawrence. <br />Call to Order at 2:00 p.m. <br />Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit) None <br />Solid Waste Updates: Patti gave the Board an update on the progress of the New Transfer <br />Station reporting that they are working through some design issues, that the foundation for the <br />scalehouse building and the office has been poured. <br />Discussion on Solid Waste Office Appraisal: Discussion was held on the amount of the <br />appraisal of the 925 Industrial Way property. <br />Maintenance Updates: Discussion was held on the Morris Sorenson Building HVAC system. <br />Further discussion included looking at getting rid of the building, exploring other location <br />options, and looking into modulars as another option for staff. <br />Request Board Approval and Chair's Signature on KNIT Change Order: Commissioner <br />Wachsmith moved to approve change order; Commissioner Wright seconded the motion.
