DECEMBER 9, 2024 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz; Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Shelise Smithgall, <br />Administrative Assistant; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />(Webex); Jeanne Killgore, HR Director; Bryan Elliott, Auditor and <br />one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT – <br /> <br />Amy McGuffin, Chamber CEO, thanked the Board for the open <br />communication they have provided. She said it’s a huge asset for <br />productivity and she hopes to continue that and positivity going <br />into 2025. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending December 6, 2024. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION EXEMPT PTO/UPDATE – DIRECTION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Bryan Elliott, Auditor, reviewed options for the Board to consider <br />from a Staff Report. He asked the Board how they would like to <br />proceed, in light of their previous decision (lump sum deposit of <br />leave for employees going from exempt to non-exempt)being determined <br />a gift of public funds.
