BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COIINTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - W <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR TIJE.2O24 VANTAGE HIGHWAY PAVING <br />PROJECT (CRp 320-24) AND AUTHORTZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE <br />THE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The call for sealed bids supporting the 2024Yantage Highway Paving Project <br />(CRP 320-24) was authorized by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on <br />October 15,2024; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW <br />36.7 7 .020 Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on November 8,2024, at 10:00 am; and <br />WHEREAS: There were three (3) responsive bids received for review; and <br />WHEREAS: The lowest responsive bid was from Interstate Concrete & Asphalt dba American <br />Rock Products in the amount of $2,043,715.00; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the lowest responsive bid be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in <br />the best interest of the County to award the Contract for the 2024Yantage <br />Highway Paving Project (CRP 320-24) to Interstate Concrete & Asphalt dba <br />American Rock Products; and <br />BE IT FIIRTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign contract <br />documents for said project. <br />DATED on this lgth day of November 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COIINTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy BuchholzM <br />o+J <br />S <br />( <br />U <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
