BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH SNOW & ICE CONTROL PRODUCTS FOR 2025 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Snow and Ice Control Products for <br />2025 on October 3,2024, and October 10,2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on October 77 , 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the office of <br />Kittitas County Public Works and four (a) bids were received, with one (1) bid <br />being an irregular proposal and not accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of GMCO <br />Corporation for Item #l Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride and for <br />Item #3 RoadSaver - Soil Stabilizer; and the responsible bid of Bob Rankin LLC <br />for Item #2 Non-Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride be accepted for <br />Snow & Ice Control Products for 2025; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2025 Snow & Ice Control Products to <br />GMCO Corporation for Item #1 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride and for Item <br />#3 RoadSaver - Soil Stabilizer; and the responsible bid of Bob Rankin LLC for Item #2 Non- <br />Corosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride, upon such terms and conditions as specified in the <br />Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s) <br />DATED this 5th day of November 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY SHINGTON <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />n4 <br />c.or <br />r.tl <br />o <br />-SLi\LAttest:(i <br />YYY, <br />t, Commissioner
