1) <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OFWASHINGTON <br />RESOLUION NO. 2024- l8?" <br />Resotution to Approve an lnterlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Snoqualmie <br />Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51 to have Snoquatmie Pass Fire and Rescue District <br />No. 51 process their own Accounts Payabl,e and Payroll warrants lndependent of the <br />Kittitas Gounty Auditor's Office Warrant Processing System <br />WHEREAS, Snoquatmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No. 51 has had its own accounting <br />system which is fuLty capabte of printing checks for accounts payable and payrotl; and <br />WHEREAS, the Washington State Auditor per RCW 43.09.230 has stated that the Kittitas <br />County Auditor and Kittitas County Treasurer can attow Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue <br />District No. 51 to print its own checks for accounts payabte and payrotl using an imprest <br />banking account; and <br />WHEREAS, this lntertocal Agreement is entered into under the authority of and in conformity <br />with the lntertoca[ Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners constitutes the tegistative authority <br />of Kittitas County and deems this to be in the best interest of the County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners hereby <br />approves and shatt execute the attached lntertocal Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Snoquatmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No. 51 to have Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue <br />District No. 51 process their own accounts payabte and payrotl independent of the Kittitas <br />County Auditor's Office warrant processing system. <br />Dated this 5% day of NJ ouevn/y..ltz 024, atEttensburg, washi ngton. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMM IONERS <br />KITTIT COU N <br />, Chairman <br />e Board -Jutie Kjorsvik <br />!
