KITTITAS COUNTY
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 5, 2024
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to advertise a Request for Qualifications for consulting
services related to the Kittitas County CWU Technology Transfer
Center Study.
BACKGROUND: The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board
(CERB) has selected Kittitas County to receive planning grant
funding in the amount of $50,000. As part of the study, the feasibility of a
public/private partnership to share costs of construction and
improvements will be explored. This planning grant will assist in the
groundwork for a technological transfer, training and development
hub to support economic and workforce development in the Central
Washington Region.
Project development and completion will require outside consulting
services to complete. Public works has developed a request for
qualifications for professional consulting services.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the advertisement of a Request for Qualifications for
consulting services related to the Kittitas County CWU Technology
Transfer Center Study.
HANDLING: Return One original to Public Works
ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Request for Qualifications; Request for Qualifications
supporting the Kittitas County CWU Technology Transfer Center
Study.
LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director
