BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO.2024- ______ <br />ResolutiontoApproveanlnterlocalAgreementbetweenKittitasCountyandSnoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51 to haveSnoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51processtheirownAccountsPayable andPayroll warrants Independent of the Kittitas County Auditor's Office Warrant Processing System <br />WHEREAS, Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51hashaditsownaccountingsystem whichisfully capable of printingchecks foraccounts payable and payroll; and <br />WHEREAS,theWashington State Auditor per RCW 43.09.230 has stated that theKittitas County Auditor and KittitasCounty Treasurer can allow Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51toprintitsownchecks foraccounts payable and payroll using an imprest banking account; and <br />WHEREAS,this lnterlocal Agreement is entered into under theauthority of and in conformity with the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW; and <br />WHEREAS,The BoardofKittitasCountyCommissionersconstitutesthelegislativeauthorityof KittitasCountyanddeemsthistobeinthebestinterestoftheCounty; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDtheKittitasCountyBoardof Commissionershereby approves and shall execute theattached lnterlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51to haveSnoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue District No.51process their own accounts payable and payroll independentof theKittitas County Auditor's Office warrant processing system. <br />Dated this ______ day of _______________ 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />_____________________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman  <br />  <br /> _____________________________________ <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br />  <br />  _____________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner
