BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RES'LUTI'N No. ,oro - i5 '[ <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE LEASE <br />AGREEMENTS AT BOWERS FIELI) <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Code (KCC) 2.5L 060(4) requires that all leases of real property be <br />approved by the Board of County Commissioners unless such authority is delegated <br />to a designee bY resolution; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County is the airport sponsor of Bowers Field with Public Works having the <br />responsibility io manage i"uses for County owned land and structures at the airport <br />and surrounding industrial land; and <br />WHEREAS: T-Hangar leases and T-Hangar amendments are a standard lease and adopted rate; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Public Works Director has the knowledge necessary to evaluate <br />and execute T-Hangar, T-Hangar amendment and short-term lease agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Kittitas County Public Works <br />Director to execute T-Hangar leases, T-Hangar lease amendments and short-term <br />leases at Bowers Field as provided in KCC 2'81'060(4)' <br />DATED on this 20th day of August 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KI S SHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ABSENT <br />Lauta <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />cory Commissionerv
