BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LICENSE BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF THE ARMY, YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER MILITARY INSTALLATION; AND YAKIMA AND <br />KITITTAS COUNTIES, WASHINGTON <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, the Secretary of the Army (Secretary), or duly authorized <br />representative of the Secretary, hereby grants Kittitas County Sheriff's Office a non- <br />exclusive license for use of lands at the Yakima Training Center Military Reservation, <br />Washington, as described in the license document, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated for reference; and <br />WHEREAS, this license is granted for a term of one (1) year, beginning September <br />1, 2024, and ending August 31, 2025, with no cost to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office <br />and with all conditions as described in the license document; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the <br />License document for use by the Yakima Training Center Military Installation be accepted, <br />and the Sheriff is authorized to approve the signing of such document. <br />ADOPTED this day of 2024. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chair <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Douglas R.
