BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COTINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />t44RESOLUTION NO. 2024. <br />ADOPTING A T-HANGAR LEASE AND WAITLIST POLICY FOR COT]NTY OWNED <br />T-HANGARS AT BOWERS FIELD <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County owns and leases T-Hangars at Bowers Field Airport to support <br />aviation purposes; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works receives requests from individuals to be placed on a T-Hangar <br />waitlist;and <br />WHEREAS: To provide consistency and guidance to those requesting leasing and to be on the <br />wait list, a policy has been developed; and <br />WHEREAS: The Airport Advisory Committee considered and supported action to formalize <br />the T-Hangar policy at their June 12,2024 meeting; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has prepared and presented a draft policy to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for review on July 8,2024; and <br />WHERBAS: Public Works desires now to formalize the draft wait list policy for County <br />owned T-Hangars. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration and in the best interest ofthe public, does hereby adopt the T- <br />Hangar Waitlist Policy for County owned T-Hangars at Bowers Field. <br />DATED on this 6ft day of August 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COLINTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS w <br />Chairman <br />- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ice-Chairman <br />cot <br />x <br />ST.AL <br />n Deputy Clelk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
