07/29/2024 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. JULY 29, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith (via Webex) and <br />Vice-Chair Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Shelise Smithgall, <br />Administrative Assistant; and 2 members of the public. <br /> REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 9:00 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Pat Kelleher provided comments on the proposed Homeless Shelter, <br />operational costs, and said he was going to submit a site for the <br />proposed 24-25 Emergency Winter Shelter. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending July 26, 2024. <br /> BALLOT ELECTIONS BALLOT MEASURE FORM COMMISSIONERS <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz said she would communicate with Josh <br />Fredrickson, Public Works Director, and ask that he complete the <br />Elections Ballot Measure Submission Cover Sheet for the Road Levy <br />Lid Lift Measure, and to request that he also publish a Press <br />Release requesting volunteers to serve on a Pro and Against <br />Committee to draft a written statement for submission on the Voters <br />Pamphlet. The Board also asked for Mr. Fredrickson to check with <br />Mike Hougardy, Assessor, to ensure the figures are accurate before <br />publishing the Press Release.
