BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION No.2024- <br />TO PURCHASE A TRIICK F'OR THE SOLID WASTE D EPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County solicited bids for a used water truck for the Solid Waste <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS: No bids were received at the closure of the bid date and time; and <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County Solid Waste is in need of a water truck since the current <br />water truck has failed; and <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County Solid Waste staffhas contacted several equipment rental and <br />supply firms and located two trucks that will meet the counties need and <br />one within the county budget; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: that the Board of County <br />Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the <br />contract to purchase a water truck to Voltage Truck and Equipment in the <br />amount of $108,508.40 including tax. <br />nrltr(* dayADOPTED this <br />of the Board- <br />of 2024. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS GTON <br />cory ght, Commissioner <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />(brc,LA.,t <br />T4o+"1 tr"nN{<tr6 <br />"+H0lLDo"glas <br />R' Mitchell, Deputv Prosecuting Attornev
