Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />7/2/2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Board of County Commissioners approval of Resolution to Purchase a Water Truck for the Solid Waste <br />Department. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste went out to bid for a used water truck and no bids were received. Staff reached <br />out to equipment rental and sales firms in the pacific northwest and were able to locate two water trucks and <br />with one within the budget. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Solid Waste and Prosecutors office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioners approval of resolution to purchase a water truck for the Solid <br />Waste Department. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
