BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - I C ? <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE QUIT CLAIM DEEDS TO <br />FINALIZE THE BOIJNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF <br />THE SEARCH AI\D RESCUE SITE <br />WHEREAS: Parcel Numbers 962112 and962713 located along Airport Road within the City <br />of Cle Elum was created through the Cle Elum Municipal Airport Short Plat; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County acquired parcel number 962113 from the City of Cle Elum in <br />2021; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works has developed a site plan on the County parcel <br />for the development of the Upper County Search and Rescue Facility; and <br />WHEREAS:The Department of Public Works has determined that the most suitable location <br />for the well requires a Boundary Line Adjustment between parcel numbers <br />962112 and962113 to accommodate the required well buffer area; and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Cle Elum has approved the Boundary Line Adjustment; and <br />WIIEREAS: The Mayor of Cle Elum, Mathew Lundh, has signed the Quit Claim Deeds <br />associated with the Boundary Line Adjustment. <br />NOW, THEREF'ORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration and in the best interest ofthe public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on <br />the Quit Claim deeds associated with the Boundary Line Adjustment of the Municipal Airport <br />Short Plat and directs staff record the deeds with the Auditor's Office. <br />DATED on this 4th day of June 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTTTAS A <br />Chairman <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />t <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Wright, Commissioner
