KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 21, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing Contract Number 22-62210- <br />008 Amendment B between the Washington State Department <br />of Commerce and Kittitas County for the Community <br />Development Block Grant Program - Public Services Funding for <br />the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County was awarded the Community Development <br />Block Grant Public Service Funds in the amount of $83,000.00 <br />and the Board of County Commissioners authorized this <br />agreement on Resolution 2022-200. Services outlined in the <br />contract materials were provided by HopeSource to low-and <br />moderate-income persons residing in Kittitas County for the <br />period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. <br /> <br />The Department of Commerce has provided Contract <br />Number 22-62210-008 Amendment A to add <br />additional funding of $81,000.00 with an amended start <br />date of July 1, 2023 and amended end date of June 30, <br />2024. The Board of County Commissioners authorized <br />this amendment on June 20, 2023 via Resolution 2023- <br />104. <br /> <br />The Department of Commerce has provided Contract <br />Number 22-62210-008 Amendment B to add <br />additional funding of $80,000.00 and amend new start <br />date to July 1, 2024 and end date to June 30,2025. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Amendment has been reviewed by Brian Carlson, Budget and <br />Finance Director and Dora Van Epps, Accountant II <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing Contract Number 22-62210- <br />008 Amendment B between the Washington State Department <br />of Commerce and Kittitas County for the Community <br />Development Block Grant Program - Public Services Funding for <br />the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
