KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 7, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing approval of Contract <br />Number 23-62210-007 between the Washington State <br />Department of Commerce and Kittitas County for the <br />Community Development Block Grant Program – General <br />Purpose Funding for the period January 2, 2024 through <br />January 31, 2027. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> Kittitas County has been awarded Community Development <br />Block Grant Public Service Funds in the amount of <br />$250,000.00. <br /> <br />The Department of Commerce has provided Contract <br />Number 23-62210-007 for the Board of County <br />Commissioners consideration. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutor's office, Dora Van Epps, Accountant II and <br />Brian Carlson, Budget and Finance Director reviewed and <br />approved the proposed Contract with the Department of <br />Commerce. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the Resolution approving Contract Number 23- <br />62210-007 between the Washington State Department of <br />Commerce and Kittitas County for Community <br />Development Block Grant – General Purpose funds <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed copy of the resolution and <br />contract to Dora Van Epps to obtain Commerce <br />signatures <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution authorizing interagency agreement with <br /> Washington State Department of Commerce <br /> CDBG Contract Number 23-62210-007 and Commerce <br /> Agreement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Dora Van Epps, Accountant II <br />Brian Carlson, Budget and Finance Director
