Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />4/16/2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on a Change Order with McKinstry. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County has been working with McKinstry to upgrade the HVAC units on the Courthouse. The three <br />units have been on order for over six months. <br /> <br />This passed winter the unit over the Assessors Treasurers wing of the Courthouse failed. This unit was not <br />one of the original three that were to be replaced. In working with McKinstry we found that one of the <br />originally order units will work in replacement of the failed unit. <br /> <br />By using the unit that was previously ordered for the Courthouse we will need to order another unit for the <br />original project. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Maintenance and McKinstry <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Boards approval for Chairs Signature on Change Order. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
