KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM April 8, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Chad Bala, Jamey Ayling, and Jessica Miller, Community <br />Development Services; Mark Cook, Josh Fredrickson, Arden Thomas, <br />and Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Stephanie Hartung, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; and no (0) members of the public. <br />At 2:13 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MIN. TIME LIMIT) <br />There were no public comments. <br />REQUEST TO SUPPORT STAFF DECISION TO AWARD PLANNING PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />DIRECTOR COOK provided the background of the previously selected <br />consultant. He stated that we received four applicants with this <br />current request for services, these were reviewed internally and <br />there was a tie for the top two. DIRECTOR COOK requested support <br />from the Commissioners to award the planning professional <br />services agreement to both top applicants, due to the expected <br />large workload in the near future.
