BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION No.2024-0e1 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING CONSOLIDATED COUNTY PURCHASING & CONTRACTS POLICY <br />WHEREAS,Kittitas County currently has Purchasing and Contract authorities codified across at <br />least nine Resolutions; and <br />It is in the interest of the Countyto consolidatethose resolutions into a single <br />document to achieve uniformity in the process of purchasing and preparing County <br />contracts, related to purchases; and <br />The Kittitas County Auditor's Office has consolidated these resolutions into a single <br />policy and completed updates to reflect process improvements; and <br />The consolidated Purchasing & Contracts Policy has been endorsed by the County <br />Policy Committee, Management Team, and reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney's <br />Office. <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners hereby <br />approves the Kittitas County Purchasing & Contracts Policy as presented. <br />NOW BE lT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Purchasing & Contracts Policy shall supersede and replace all prior <br />Resolutions inconsistent with the Kittitas County Purchasing & Contracts Policy, specifically included, but <br />not limited to Resolution s:2009-22,2017-Ot'J,,2017-076,2OI9-L73,20L9-L97,2023-0L3, and 2023-103. <br />Resolutions 2023-O7O and 2016-008 shall remain in effect as Appendix A and Appendix B of the <br />consolidated Purchasing & Contracts Policy. <br />DATED this f+h ("').01-l) <br />Ellensburg, Washington.at <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KTTT|TAS COUNry N <br />ith, Chairman <br />of rd - Julie Kjorsvik arrman <br />puty Clerk of the Board - Mandy Buchholz <br />ura <br />Co rv Commissioner
