<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2024-_____ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING CONSOLIDATED COUNTY PURCHASING & CONTRACTS POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County currently has Purchasing and Contract authorities codified across at <br />least nine Resolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, It is in the interest of the County to consolidate those resolutions into a single <br />document to achieve uniformity in the process of purchasing and preparing County <br />contracts, related to purchases; and <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Auditor’s Office has consolidated these resolutions into a single <br />policy and completed updates to reflect process improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, The consolidated Purchasing & Contracts Policy has been endorsed by the County <br />Policy Committee, Management Team, and reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney’s <br />Office. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners hereby <br />approves the Kittitas County Purchasing & Contracts Policy as presented. <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Purchasing & Contracts Policy shall supersede and replace all prior <br />Resolutions inconsistent with the Kittitas County Purchasing & Contracts Policy, specifically included, but <br />not limited to Resolutions: 2009-22, 2017-011, 2017-076, 2019-173, 2019-197, 2023-013, and 2023-103. <br />Resolutions 2023-070 and 2016-008 shall remain in effect as Appendix A and Appendix B of the <br />consolidated Purchasing & Contracts Policy. <br />DATED this __________, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> ________________________________ <br />Attest: Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />________________________________ _______________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board – Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> Deputy Clerk of the Board – Mandy Buchholz <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />
