KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Juvenile Court Services <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 17, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve County Program Agreement — Evidence Based <br />Expansion between Juvenile Court Services and the Department of <br />Children, Youth, and Families <br />BACKGROUND: As mandated by the Washington State Legislature, the purpose of this <br />contract is to provide funding to expand evidence -based treatment and <br />training programs administered by local juvenile courts. The <br />expanded programs include, Functional Family Therapy, Multi - <br />Systemic Therapy, Coordination of Services and Education and <br />Employment Training. <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the <br />contract (Prosecutor Review Number 10174). Zack DeHaven with the <br />Auditor's Office was provided a copy for review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the County Program Agreement — Evidence Based <br />Expansion between Juvenile Court Services and Department of <br />Children, Youth and Families for SFY 2024-2025. <br />HANDLING: Request 2 signed original documents be returned to Juvenile Court <br />Services to pursue DCYF signature and subsequent return of an <br />original fully executed document to the BoCC for County records (I <br />have created 3 originals — if you would please return 2 and keep 1). <br />ATTACHMENTS: County Program Agreement Evidence Based Expansion SFY 2024- <br />2025, DCYF Agreement Number 2363-51827 <br />LEAD STAFF: Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator <br />
