Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 3, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the KZ Freehold Long Plat <br />(LPF-23-00005 & LL-21-00002). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The KZ Freehold Large Lot Plat was approved administratively on May 12, 2022 <br />with findings of Fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and KCC <br />16.12. The plat covers approximately 162.41 acres accessed via Wilson Creek Road. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on August 4, 2023, requesting final <br />mylar approval for the KZ Freehold Large Lot Plat. This Plat creates seven (7) 20 <br />acre lots and one (1) 24 acre lot with access via a private road off Wilson Creek <br />Road. Staff reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that <br />it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. The mylar has been <br />reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the KZ Freehold <br />Large Lot Plat (LPF-23-00005 & LL-21-00002). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for KZ Freehold (LPF-23-00005 & LP-21-00002) <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jamey Ayling, Planning Manager
