BOARD OF COI.]NTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.9oA,? cA4 <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE <br />(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 7,2023,to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2023; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 23,2023, at2:00 pm in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Offrce and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg <br />Cement Products, Inc. be accepted for Schedules o'A", "B" and'oC" for <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for one (l) calendar year following contract <br />execution; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2023 Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules " A" , 'oB" , and "C" , upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 7th day of March2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS , WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, <br />k of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy elerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett <br />Commissioner
