KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 3, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the Federal Financial Assistance <br />Grant Award Subrecipient Agreement between WA State Parks and Recreation <br />Commission and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has worked with the Washington <br />State Parks and Recreation Commission for many years. The Boating Safety Program <br />funds are available to assist the Sheriff’s Office with local marine law enforcement <br />efforts to reduce the number and severity of recreational boating casualties of all types <br />and ensure a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all users. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved this Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the Federal Financial Assistance <br />Grant Award Subrecipient Agreement between WA State Parks and Recreation <br />Commission and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No Handling <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
