KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 20, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Disband the Flood <br />Control Zone District Advisory Committee <br />BACKGROUND: In 2017, by Resolution 2017-183, the Flood Control Zone <br />District Advisory Committee was formed to support <br />ongoing prioritization of Flood Control Zone District <br />annual capital facility planning and work program <br />elements. To date, these major tasks have been <br />accomplished by the committee. The committee has not <br />met since June of 2022 and ongoing operations of the Flood <br />Control Zone District are not anticipated to be benefited by <br />ongoing committee involvement. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works; Flood Control Zone District <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution to Disband the Flood Control Zone <br />District Advisory Committee <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resource Manager <br />
