BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2022____ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. 2006-12, A RESOLUTION THAT <br />ESTABLISHED A VETERANS ADVISORY BOARD FOR KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The legislature has provided that each county is to establish a Veterans Advisory <br /> Board as set forth in RCW 73.08.035, which Kittitas County established via <br />resolution 2006-12, which is attached hereto and hereby incorporated by this <br />reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Resolution 2006-12, declared that the membership on the Veterans Board shall <br />not exceed 11 members; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: A large membership requirement has made it difficult to establish a quorum and <br />thus has led to delays in the Board’s work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: A reduced membership requirement would be in the best interest of the County; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Board of County Commissioners hereby <br />rescinds resolution number 2006-12 in anticipation of a new resolution with a <br />revised membership composition. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this _____ day _________ 2022. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board/Deputy Clerk of the Board
