BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -|v1 <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS ENGINEERING PHASE FOR THE FAUST ROAI) <br />BRIDGE #88212 OVER THE TOWN DITCH REPLACEMENT PROJECT CRP 316-22 <br />WHEREAS: The Faust Road Bridge No. 88212 Replacement Project was awarded Federal <br />Funding through the2022 Local Bridge Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The federal funding will be used for the preliminary engineering phase to design, <br />develop and prepare construction plans and specifications for these <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to begin work, Kittitas County Public Works is requesting the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation release the federal funds for <br />preliminary engineering; and <br />WHEREAS:A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the County's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Faust Road Bridge #88212 Over <br />the Town Ditch Replacement Project CRP 316-22. <br />DATED on this 6th day of September 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTIT , WASHINGTON <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Wright, Vice-Chairman <br />ABSENTn Deputy.Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner
