Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />09/06/2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves and signs resolution approving the Professional <br />Service Agreement Amendment between Kittitas County and FISH Community Food Bank for <br />Out of Home Services, as well as signing the amendment. (Effective date: 08/01/2022 – End <br />Date: 08/01/2023) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The follow amendment extends the end date of the PSA between Kittitas County and FISH <br />Community Food Bank to August 1, 2023. Through this PSA FISH provides groceries and <br />prepared meals to food insecure individuals under isolation or quarantine orders in temporary <br />housing. It was previously thought that the Kittitas County Health Network would be abl e to <br />take over services through alternate funding, but said funding will end sooner than anticipated <br />and will not adequately meet community need. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 08/04/2022 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 08/09/2022 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves and signs resolution approving the Professional <br />Service Agreement Amendment between Kittitas County and FISH Community Food Bank for <br />Out of Home Services, as well as signing the amendment.
