BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZEEXE,CUTION OF AN AMBNDMENT TO THE <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN WASHINGTON STATE <br />HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY AND KITTITAS COUNTY <br />RESOLUTION No. 2022 - |I <br />WHEREAS: The State of Washington, acting by and through the Health Care Authority, issued <br />a Request for Application for the purpose of developing or implementing or <br />continuing to expand Medication for Opiod Use Disorder in Jails Program; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County submitted a timely response to the Request for Application; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority reviewed all properly submitted Responses and has <br />identified Kittitas County as the Apparent Successful Bidder; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority has previously determined that entering into a contract with <br />Kittitas County will meet Health Care Authority's needs and will be in the State's <br />best interest: and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners for Kittitas County authorized the original <br />Agreement by Resolution2022-072 onMarch 15,2022 for the award amount of <br />$271,035.00; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority has awarded $252,000.00 in additional funds to Kittitas <br />County for the furtherance of this project; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the amended Agreement between <br />Washington State Healthcare Authority and the Kittitas County Jail shall commence on <br />July 1 ,2022 and continue to June 30,2023 and accepts this grant money and the terms of <br />the contract. <br />ADOPTED this wday of 2022 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KrTTI IbS_Q p_UNTY, WAS Hr N G T O N <br />ABSENT <br />Chair <br />Vice-Chair
