Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />7/19/2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board of County Commissioners to sign resolution setting the minimum price to lease property. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County purchase the property at 830 North Poplar Street in March of 2015. Since that time the <br />property has sat vacant. <br /> <br />In order to move forward with a request for proposals a minimum price must be set for the leasing of the <br />property. The attached resolution reflex the price that has been consistent with ground leases that the county <br />has at the airport. <br /> <br />The existing Bowling Alley Building is in need of major repairs that will require anyone who submits a <br />proposal to lease the property to invest in upgrades to the building. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Prosecutors office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioners to sign the resolution to set the minimum fee for the Property <br />at 830 North Poplar to be leased. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
