Public Health Study Session Meeting Minutes <br />June 22, 2022 <br />10:00 AM <br />Commissioner’s Conference Room <br /> <br />Attendees <br />Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz, Chelsey Loeffers, Chris Whitsett, Kady Porterfield, Erin Moore <br /> <br />Director Chelsey Loeffers requested that the agenda order be modified to start with the “Other <br />Business” item for the Event Center Contract. Agenda order amendment was approved. <br /> <br />Event Center Contract Renewal <br /> <br />Chris Whitsett from the Sheriff’s Office presented that the terms of the Emergency Management <br />contract with the Event Center have changed slightly starting July 1, 2022. <br /> <br />Emergency Management has a contract with the Event Center to have priority use in case of a mass <br />vaccination scenario. Currently FEMA reimburses us 100%, however, starting July 1st, FEMA will <br />reimburse us at 90%. The County will be responsible for the 10% of the monthly bill which equals <br />approximately $390. Since we are not in a declaration of emergency, Emergency Management does not <br />have the authority to authorize this spending. <br /> <br />There was discussion about the contract. The BOCC agreed to fund the 10% of the monthly bill. <br /> <br />Department Business <br />BOCC Ordinance number correction for revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage <br />Disposal Systems <br />Erin Moore explained that there was a numbering error on the Ordinance that was passed on the March <br />17, 2022, public hearing for revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13. 04 Onsite Sewage Disposal <br />Systems. Staff request the BOCC pass a motion to correct Ordinance number 2022-002 to Ordinance <br />2022-007. <br />Commissioner Brett Wachsmith motioned to correct BOCC Ordinance number 2022-002 to BOCC <br />Ordinance 2022-007. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz second. Motion approved to correct BOCC <br />Ordinance number 2022-002 to 2022-007. <br />Citizen Comment- no members of the public were present <br />Other Business <br />• BOCC Feedback <br />Director Chelsey Loeffers proposed a standing agenda item for BOCC feedback regarding Board of <br />Health meetings. Chelsey would like to get board feedback about what they would like to see at <br />future BOH meetings. Condensed meetings and topic redundancy were discussed. There was also
