<br />1 <br />06/08/2022 LTAC Minutes <br />LODGING TAX ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM/WEBEX <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 10:00 A.M. June 8, 2022 <br /> <br />Committee members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Noni Hughes, <br />Victor Woodward, and Roylene Crawford. <br />Staff: Emily Smith, Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />There was also 1 member of the public present. <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting of the Lodging Tax <br />Advisory Committee (LTAC) at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes from May 5, 2022, were reviewed. Roylene Crawford <br />moved to approve the minutes, as presented. Noni Hughes <br />seconded. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL UPDATE <br /> <br />The financial information was reviewed. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/ CONSIDERATION ON FUNDING TREAD <br /> <br />The committee discussed the benefits of supporting and funding <br />TREAD maps. Roylene recommended for the Board of County <br />Commissioners sign the commitment and support TREAD Maps with a <br />$30,000 contribution through the Lodging Tax funds. Victor noted <br />that the TREAD map analytics could be similar to data that the <br />Chamber of Commerce is looking for, and if appropriate, the <br />committee may want to share some of the analytics with the <br />Chamber of Commerce as they become available. Noni seconded. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/ DECISION OF REGULARLY SCHEDULED LTAC MEETINGS <br /> <br />The committee agreed that the regularly scheduled meetings being <br />held on the first Thursday of the month will no longer work for <br />the committees scheduled. After discussion, the group agreed to <br />meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />
