KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 21, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Ellensburg Family Medicine (Modification of this existing <br />agreement) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Modification is to allow for a nurse to be hired <br />to help with coverage at the jail due to the increase of services and increase the total <br />amount paid to the Contractor. Hiring a nurse to help with coverage at the jail will allow <br />the Contractor to provide additional services for the jail. The total cost to the Contractor <br />will increase from no greater than $100,000 annually to no greater than $235,000 <br />annually, reflecting an estimated cost of the additional personnel and services of <br />$135,000. This will be paid from the same fund. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Ellensburg Family Medicine (Modification of this existing <br />agreement). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. Sheriff’s Office to provide a <br />fully executed Agreement back to the BOCC upon signature by Ellensburg Family <br />Medicine. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
