<br />2022-02-14 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MONDAY 11:00 AM February 14, 2022 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />Brett Wachsmith <br />Others: Ken Grannan <br />Meeting Called to Order: Laura Osiadacz <br />Lease Policy Update <br />In January, Staff was asked to research remediation of old buildings as it relates to leasehold <br />improvements. The information found was the natural average demolition price for commercial <br />buildings was $4-$8 per square foot. Another area of discussion was aeronautical leases. The <br />airport staff is working with the prosecutor’s office to define county code as it relates to lease <br />term restrictions. <br />Minimum Standards Update <br />On February 1st the airport was given a new direction for the minimum standards. This new <br />direction defines code placement in Title 19.
